Choose the appropriate rhetoric to continue the following sentence:

This post comes before Lucky Star becomes just another passing anime craze…

a) Wait, what do you mean it already has?

b) Oh wait, who am I kidding?

In case anyone’s more interested in what I’m interested in currently rather than what I’ve been up to in yet another one of my prolonged absences.

Maria-sama ga Miteru Again? 4th Season: Wait, what am I doing still watching this show when all my favourite characters have long graduated? Oh wait, gender-bending school play? Hmm… Well, I’m sure if I stick with this long enough, Sei-sama’s bound to return for an episode or two :D

Maria†Holic: SHAFT, Inoue Marina and Kobayashi Yu in deliciously sadistic roles and even a dash of Sawashiro Miyuki tossed in? It’s hard for me not to like this show already traps/supposed yuri aside XD

Minami-ke Okaeri: I forgot which studio is handling this one this time – though I guess I don’t really need to care so long as Hosaka-senpai’s the laughs are still there =P (Wait, so will there or will there be no more of those ‘Bible Black faces’?)

White Album: I don’t really get why this is the show to love or hate (more of the latter it seems) this season. Okay, so the narrative style is a bit unusual (which will either strike you as needlessly pretentious or bloody awesome), the male lead comes from a long line of male leads that noone cares about, yet all the girl characters seem set to fall hopelessly in love with him and then there’s Hirano Aya*Ahem* On the other hand, I have Mizuki Nana, Maeno Tomoaki, and the promise of snow a trifecta of my weaknesses!, so that balances things out :P

Zoku Sayonara Natsume Yuujinchou: More of what we’ve already come to love from the first season. Nothing more to say (except I wish they didn’t name it the way they did, I keep half expecting to hear “Runba Runba Runba…” in the OP)

Da Capo if only: Yea, if only indeed. I guess if they still manage to screw Kotori over in the end (please don’t :( ), this will still be somewhat of a redemption for the abomination that was DCSS just because Aisia’s nowhere in sight.

(Supposedly) Still watching: Kuroshitsuji (Why is it that I never really found it out of place for people to speak Japanese in Victorian England, only until I see the Indians do it too? – and I was fine with it in Emma too -_-”), Skip Beat! (Can we get Kyoko to call someone a female pig on this show too?)

What you could expect (but don’t get your hopes too high up) on this blog in the future: Me blabbering about Comiket, Washinomiya Shrine, Shirakawa-go, Mizuki Nana’s LIVE FEVER 2009 (??? I am kicking myself badly right now over the fact that she just finished performing in what practically is my own backyard and I COULDN’T GO TTTTTTTT_______TTTTTTTTTT Somebody drop me a ticket to the Nagoya show next week?) and absolutely nothing about the shows mentioned above. That is, if I’m not (supposedly) too busy with my mini graduation thesis and preparing to not foul up an interview to enter Osaka University -_-”

P.S. Oh, and maybe a post on the year that was 2008 if I can be bothered, though don’t be surprised if that comes out in mid-June or something. And just as belated as that is, Happy 2009 to y’all!
