issa-sa is (yet another) disillusioned, easily bored anime blogger whose real identity is of no real consequence to the real world, hence the fuzzy anime animal avatar (whom I share next to no traits with in reality, accept the rings around the eyes maybe).
In the cold harshness of today’s real life, issa-sa is currently studying the moonspeak and moonrunes in Osaka for a year, after which he she intends to enter university (whichever that’ll accept me) in full Yagami Light fashion (more like Urashima Keitaro methinks -_-”)… Should this fail to happen, he she will probably then return to his her native homeland of Malaysia to continue that futile existence as a hikikomori, before being completely disowned by his her family and society.
issa-sa can be contacted at now[dot]then[dot]here[dot]there[at]gmail.com should the need to flame me privately arises.
And don’t worry, I don’t always refer to myself in 3rd person.

Hi there i found your site while googling for Oofuri dvd which i hoped would be out with its English subtitle! I guess they havent so i need to be more patient now and wait a bit longer and hope THAT subtitle wise it’ll be good compare to some that ive seen which were diabolical
What attracted me when i came to your site is your Kyo Kara Maoh’s background (TOTALLY BIG FAN OF KKM!!) Where did you get it?

@Tima: Wow, I’m surprised anyone would recognize it (guess I underestimated the power of a KKM FAN XD). It’s just a single screenshot from the series that gets repeated about the page ;P

Hi Issa-sa!
OGT and I are planning to write this post, which is an inquiry on why some people seem allergic to certain genres of anime. It would appear that you don’t care much for mecha, which is our niche.
It would be great if you’d be interested in participating!
The link below is where I got the impression that you’re indifferent or at least not a mecha fan at all:

You can contact me on the email I used to post this comment. I hope to hear from you soon! ^_^

yooo issa-sa
i read your little yakitate blog and got a little jealous. im in training to be a baker and i want to travel to japan (from australia) and study their style of baking (if they have one?). is baking really a big industy in japan? i probably need to learn the moonspeak…

@blake-ob: They’re tonnes of bakeries around here, though I’m not sure if there’s a large coordinated industry surrounding baking in Japan. As for whether there’s a Japanese “style” of baking like Yakitate tries to propose, well as far as I can see, like most things Japanese that didn’t actually originate from Japan, bread/cakes/pastries you get here may look the same as where they originally came from, only almost always with a twist to make it local to Japan only (loaf bread is cut thicker, the existence of “melon bread”, macha, read bean and other essential Japanese flavourings, etc.). And yea, moonspeak would probably be a prerequisite.
