Holy cow, I’m hard-pressed trying to think of any other anime character who has a larger chin (and not ちんちんchinchin, for those who know what that means in moonspeak 
) than Klaus here. Seriously, the size of that thing is mind blowing… Okay, enough with the innuendo =P
I won’t bother even trying to speak ‘objectively’ about Maiden Rose (those who confuse it with Rozen Maiden, will very probably regret that -_-”) here, all you need to know is that it’s set in a dubious war fantasy setting, there are guns, explosions, and BLOOD (this, I have to stress =P), and some pretty melodramatic lead characters with even more melodramatic lines. Oh, yea, and explicit buttsecks. And little boys too! (For a show like this, this post is long enough without me inserting the shota threesome eew jokes that I had planned) Yea, I’m sure by now you’re pretty much decided on which side of the YES/NO fence you stand on with this OVA before you’ve even watched it
Thanks kanzeon, now that I’ve got my cheesy WTFBBQ buttsecks ‘fix’ for the season, I can stop seeing stupid BL innuendo in every other show I watch now!
Except maybe Hetalia. XD

Rofl. Klaus has a deadly huge chin indeed. But you forgot to mention that Klaus also has a nasty long….. tail in the chibi extra xD.

That’s a big chin and I cannot lie, you other blogger’s can’t deny… when Klaus shows up at the right time and place there’s a big chin on his face you get SURPRISE… buttsecks, and how’s that chin fit on his neck, even the collar he’s wearin’, I bet it’s not weight bearin’, oh seriously, that chin’s much bigger, than Jay Leno’s he’d snigger…

No, Taki-sama is not dead. Though Klaus did hurt him (the doctor whom he took Taki to was livid at what he’d done). Poor Taki. But poor Klaus too, he probably feels unloved and that’s what drove him to this. I think the second OVA wraps up the first volume of the manga… I hope they’ll continue with the series.

2nd Ova will come out on 25 September.
This anime was such pleasant surprise, I just cant get over it. I watch parts of it every day. I loved rape scenes, despite them making my stomach churn. It takes a lot of talent to make my stomach twist, and Maiden Rose definitely was successful in that department. 10/10

I COULDN’T AGREE MORE! He DOES have a big fucking chin! I know he’s suppose to look “manly”, but it’s off-putting. & I didn’t like it. (His chin, that is…) As for M.R., there’s the usual master/servant (the uke is the master & the seme is the servant in wartime & the ultimate reversal of those roles @ bedtime. It wasn’t bad until that big chinned goof-ball raped the uke because he didn’t return his “feeling”. Awww, poor baby. But he isn’t JUST satisfied w/ raping him, he ALSO has to degrade him by doing the deed while the little cadet who admires him so, stands behind a closed door having a “I-wanna-be-just-like-you-when-I-grow-up!” conversation w/ him, all the while not knowing just how BASE & DISGUSTING his so-called “hero” is. Sad. After he realizes what he has done by getting “carried away”, he sees the “BLOOD” seeping from his lover’s butt. The poor young man anally looks like his on the 1st full day of his period. More sadder. But, rape, like war, is hell. On top of that we have this cheesy 5 minute “shota” segment where our main characters are in their “chibi” form. What is creepy about THIS segment, is that it (like most yaoi) is made to appeal to young women, but we all know that it’s the pedophiles who’ll watch it. I don’t understand why people continue to make, produce, & act in “shota & loli”. To me, it’s just 1 tiny step/loophole away from kiddie porn. & That’s the saddest of all.
