I find the comparison pretty off. Still I do agree, that this is a sexy show in a very muted, refined manner. Nothing beats a restaurant with glasses wearing men, that makes patrons feels special, by being there. BTW it seems that tis the season for divorce. Dramatic irony around it forms the basis of Nicoletta's leverage over Olga. Saki also features a family separated by divorce.
