Ah, recycling images… It’s good to be back!

INTERNET!!! INTERNEEETTTT!!!!!! *runs around screaming like a headless chicken on crack* *wipes (figurative) tears of joy from eyes*

*ahem* So as you can see – if you’re still reading this sad spot on the interwebs that only seems to serve to collect dust while waiting for the next time I deem convenient to come back – I am, well back! (”-for now!” being the necessary disclaimer)

Err, so excuses, excuses for once again disappearing without notice… And what major ones I’ve got this time! Though really they’re the ones you see all the time that you might as well waste your time somewhere else like watching White Album – oh, is that so last season already?

But for the sake of continuity (it would be totally jarring if I suddenly popped up out of nowhere ranting about there not being enough episodes of Skip Beat! – not that this is any better), I guess it’s still ‘best’ to state that I’ve spent the past month or so doing the following things in order:

  1. Finishing my 1 year preparatory course in Osaka University
  2. Moving from my dorm room in Osaka U…
  3. …into a new one room apartment outside of Osaka U
  4. Cursing the immediate lack of internet (took about 3 weeks after moving in to set up – today!) and that I have to start paying my own bills etc…
  5. Splurged on a new TV to survive the uneventful internet-less days before the start of uni (still a ton of unread manga, but it’s just so freakin quiet in a room all by oneself!) – and I still haven’t gotten curtains for my window or my shower -_-”
  6. Gawking at the cherry blossoms in full realization that it’s already been a full year for me here XD
  7. Entering Osaka University – this time as an undergraduate student, and in a different campus
  8. Started classes – and wondering how I’m going to survive a semester of Sciences, a new foreign language, Engrlish (all compulsory) + Psychology, Sociology and Burmese Culture (electives – don’t ask about the last one) with classes all in moonspeak (yes, even Engrlish!!!)
  9. All the while wondering: WTF did I get myself into his time??? (OTL)

*collapses out of exhaustion* Hopefully in time I actually get used to things (Aside from orientation and the mind-boggling period where we had to choose our electives, it’s only been my first day of class, and only the excitement of having internet in my room finally is keeping sane and awake for now)

And perhaps by some miracle of miracles I may actually start blogging again – though the chances of my posts being more of the *curses the Japanese University system* variety(I’ll start with “I don’t care how much they want to ‘broaden our perspectives’ by making us take a whole bunch of subjects unrelated to our majors in the first year, but WTH is SPORTS compulsory????!!!!“) than on whatever little anime I may manage starting from now is probably going to be high -_-”

Okay, I think I’ve long passed the point of typing enough words to make up for all my absent time and entered tl;dr territory -_-” Guess this’ll be all from me for now (wish me bloody luck people!!! And the same to everyone else in higher education or working their asses off out there :P ) Now if you excuse me, I’ve got some episodes of White Al- err… wha’s new this season? – to catch up to ;P
