If none of that made any sense to you… Well, you’re not alone. Well, at least you weren’t till I found the page where the Hetalia characters are introduced (you’ll either have to be able to read moonrunes, or know your country flags to puzzle it out), so I could actually piece togeher what my ‘Happy Hetalia Family‘ is supposed to be like. So apparently…

‘Mom’ and Dad are Finland and Switzerland respectively (both male?) – does thaｔ mean I got raised on chocolates and doing chores with Swiss army knives while ‘mom’ was out having an affair with Sweden if kanzeon had her way XD

Siblings are Iceland (cool! – urgh, unintentional pun) and America. Which would be awesome, except that America is also my ‘lover’ and Iceland is my stalker (wtf??)

‘Pet’ (???) is Liechtenstein (did I spell that right?) and my best friend is Belarus. Apparenｔly in Hetalia at least,  ‘daddy’ Switzerland has a soft spot for the ’soft-spoken and high-tech’ (??) Liechtenstein. (Belarus, save me from my dysfunctional family of sib-cons!!!)

For those of you who don’t know, Hetalia Axis Powers is a series supposedly poking fun at the world circa World War I by caricaturing various countries in manga/anime form. The manga and now anime (still ‘airing’, 5mins apiece) can be found on the interwebs, and if all this is news to you, then I guess you must have missed all that stupid fuss Korea made that caused the show to not air on TV -_-” The show hardly makes any sense at all, but  appeals to the Geography but History hating freak in me immensely. And Spain isn’t exactly my favourite character (don’t have one yet. Maybe Canada – his pet polar bear is adorable), but he amuses me since he speaks Kansai-ben in series XD
