“Is it just me, or is “teenager transforming into humanoid fighting machine” the new “teenager piloting giant mecha robot“?”

I think the idea has been around for a while, it’s just that most of them are targeted at younger boys with more “monster of the week” sort of development. Guyver, for example.

@Hoshi: That screenshot’s totally misleading and non-representative of the humanoid thingie the tranforms into – I just chose it because of the subliminal Kamen Rider messages our Japanese Culture teacher has been infecting us with -_-” (You can wait till next season to watch this, but there’ll probably be a ton of awesome shows jostling for our attention then)

@9Tale: A Damned vexing title it is. I think I’ll stick to 亡念のザムド　then, at least the weeaboos will be happy (unless somehow screwed that up too)

I’m having a hard time watching “teenager piloting giant mecha robot” already. (Unless of course, we’re talking about Macross Frontier)

He looks like a bug in the screenshot. >.> Maybe when I have some free time to kill I’ll being watching this, but that’s not for a while.

I also like Nijuu Mensou no Musume as it’s a not too complicated adventure flick. (: issa-sa! We finally have a common preference now! ^____________^ *runs around celebrating*

I’ll be catching Birdy the Might Decode but only when I’m free. There are other series that I prefer to Birdy (eg: Strike Witches). My own preference though. XD
