Haha yea I still can’t stop it, but one problem I really have with this anime is that I keep thinking that too!

Whenever I just hear Kei’s voice open I think LULU. IT’S LULU. So whenever Kei fails, it feels like Lulu is failing. I really want Tadashi’s character song though D: it was so cute.

I’m still watching this, despite my loathing for the main characters! Just busy with my mom this week…w00t for sightseeing. I feel like I’m too deep in to just drop it. I’d like some resolution, preferably with Kei and Hikari ending it Romeo and Juliet style.

@reslez: Yea, if I wasn’t so bitter and more lenient, I’d say that they at least try to make the show funny (but it’s rather lazy, so I’m too lazy to laugh as well) and Kei isn’t as tightassed as he first started (but I still hate him, and always will). All the jokes in Tadashi’s episode were really JUST decent enough, but I had to laugh because it’s Tadashi
Perhaps if I was pained for something to watch, I’d probably continue watching hoping the side characters get better episodes (and having those hopes crushed)… Or I could just pick something from my backlog instead. Methinks I’ll do the latter.

100% agree.

I dropped this one after the first episode, but when I was really bored one night I broke down and decided to catch up with the show. I found myself actually laughing aloud at some jokes which convinced me to keep watching.

– Kei is unbearable. His crush on Hikari is supposed to make him likable but he just comes across as a mean, superior tightass. He’s grown on me a tiny bit, though.

– The other characters are thinner than a coat of paint. They each have a single obsession and no personality.

– The gooey “sweet” moments where color fades out and there’s a rainbow effect — I assume these are supposed to be sentimental and touching, but really all they make me do is scratch my head in bewilderment. None of these moments are earned. Rather, they bore.

– Overall: DISHONORABLE FAILURE. But I still get amusement out of the occasional joke, and the unusual way the Kei/Hikari thing is handled has kept it bearable. I guess that’s why I’m still watching.

I mean, what else do I have to watch? Nabari no Ou is too slow-paced to be watchable and Vampire Knight’s last episode was so badly animated I felt like someone had recorded dialogue over pictures of paper cut-out dolls.

@biankita: Yea, this is the one time I’m dropping at it’s good point, really. I figured that once I squeezed out a Tadashi episode out of this one I’m through with it once and for all!

@blissmo: If you did blissmo, you’d want to kill all the characters in an episode of Bunny Channel

I wonder if I made it as far as you whether I’d just keep going, but I canned it around ep. 4 or 5. Couldn’t stand it. The very premise of the kids in their special class was a little gross to me, but beyond that there just weren’t any laughs and I see no reason to actually feel involved in the characters.

But there’s an easy cure for the S.A. that ails you, it’s called 24 minutes a week of Itazura Na Kiss.

I have not seen this series so I would not know why would you want to drop it. But usually I would get annoyed with a show if the flow of the story is awkward and boring.

mmm… you really have good points. i wonder why I’M still watching this. it’s probably because i’m one of those people who, when i’m at the point of dropping an anime, i will get one good episode and will opt not to drop it. i think i’m naive to think things WILL get better… :*
