Gurren Lagann Parallel Works 2 : Why is 6 afraid of 7?

Gotta catch ‘em all(TM)?
Kinda my reaction to the possibility of Leeron X Boota doujins right now
Well that certainly put a smile on my face. I love how the theme is more whimsically amusing/amusingly whimsical this time than going for all-out epicness (If the spiral concept is to be maintained, these parallel work videos should get even better as the weeks go by
), though the pachinko/slow scenes just oozed a definitely sleekness that made me go “Oooooooooo“. What I loved most in the end though, is how the background music synergized so well with the video (goes into ‘epic’ mode in the second half), like it’s telling a story, when there really isn’t one in the first place, =P
Okay that turned out a bit longer than what I intended to type at first (”Poor Viral, lol.“)
That’s all I’ll post today since the internet here is suddenly so f*cking slow I can’t even watch a freakin’ episode of Chi’s Sweet Home, damnit.
A pissed-off Yoko is fine too This is how I feel about the wireless internet here right now.
P.S. Was it just me, or did Kamina look very Rose of Versailles this time? LOL at the chubby chibi designs for Simon and Yoko though.
P.P.S. If you’ve not heard of the answer to the lame riddle before: show

What the cow was up with Leeron though? >_<

@blissmo: My other option is to subscribe to this portable internet thingie which my dormmates use for god knows how many thousands of yen per month. Borrowed my friend’s to use for a while the other day, and in between our hillside location and the rainy weather, the connection was only a little less erratic than the current free one I’m leeching off (though internet past 10… Tempting, but then I’ll never leave my room -_-”)
@Ez: You mean Leeron’s spasms of joy(?) every time Simon twisted his drill harder? Do I really have to spell that out for you?

Leeron looks like he was having one of those Sousei no Aquarion moments there.
If I’m not mistaken this episode references the current pachinko scene where quite a few pachinko machines have incorporated anime into their gameplay. (i am no expert so don’t be surprised if i am completely off the mark.)
